The rhyming nature of the book can also help encourage early language development and spark toddlers' interest and engagement as they begin to understand words, sounds, and phrases.
About the author
Dr. Stacie Cooper has been in the mental health and prevention field for 20 years and obtained her doctoral degree in clinical psychology from Pepperdine University in 2009. She currently works with youth and families as a transition and life coach. She also serves as a certified facilitator for Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction for Teens, teaching online mindfulness classes to youth and educators. She teaches Pilates in her local community, as well. Dr. Cooper has previous published self-help books and women's fiction, and she's excited to enter the children's book market now that she has a baby boy of her own.
