Francois comes from a long family line of musicians, which dates back to the Frederic Chopin family. Francois started playing the piano at the age of 3 years old and took his first lesson at age 5. By the time he was 9 years old; he had performed his first public concert playing Boogie Woogie and Classical music and had developed what is known as the “Golden” left hand. At 13, Francois starts weekly rehearsals with Patrice Lescure, Saxophonist and learn with him Main stream Jazz and Bebop style. He shows his ability to improvise on miscellaneous themes from classical composer J.S. Bach, L. Beethoven, and S.Rachmaninoff to name a few.
Francois attended Conservatory of Levallois-Perret, National Conservatory of Paris, (Jeanine Rueff) Schola Cantorum, ENA (New School of Arts Jean-Louis Florentz) and Sorbonne Paris IV Musicology all in Paris (Leothaud), France.
During his musical career, he also managed to teach to Professional Musicians for 12 years at the Institute of Music and Professional Formation (IMFP) with Michel Barrot and Ivan Jullien and at the National Jazz School of Montpellier (JAM) both in France.
He is the leader and founder of the band “Colors and Light” who won in 1995 the French TV M6Video clip contest.
Winner of Country Music Contest at the European Country Music Festival in France in 1997 hosted by Robert Conrad (James West in the TV Show Wild Wild West),
Performing on stage with Billy Ray .
Winner of “French Idol” (Graine de Star) contest with Sarah drey in 1998 hosted by Lara Fabian.
Francois has recorded and worked with many notable Artists and Musicians such as Ross Hogarth (Producer of Grammy Award winner Ziggy Marley), Joe and Mike Porcaro( the band Toto), Sean Lennon (Capitol Records, Los Angeles), Michel Petrucciani, Mike Stern (Michael Brecker quintet), Oscar Cartaya ( Spyro Gyra), Big Al Downing ( Nashville), Michel Magne (Les Miserables, Sound Tracks), Ivan Jullien (A Man and a Woman, Sound Track) to name a few.
He played with the Renegade Band with Lorenzo Lamas while touring throughout Europe.
He composed and produced the CD “Scorpion Dance King” featuring Branscombe Richmond.

Francois moved from France to Los Angeles in 2002 and then to Maui in 2010 where he fell in love with the Hawaiian culture and was mentored by Emma Veary, "The Golden Voice of Hawaii" and performed with many Hawaiian artists. Between producing and recording sessions Francois performs at the Four Seasons Hotel resort of Maui -Wailea and at the "Hideaway" - Kahului
