Jersey Metal Volume One (Revised Edition)

In Jersey Metal Volume One (Revised Edition) Frank White and Alan Tecchio took their original book and amped it up with even more stories, band flyers and an improved layout. Missing are the magazine ads that were in the first version since the source who originally offered their use, later reneged on that. 

Jersey Metal Volume One (Revised Edition) sees Frank and Alan teaming up to offer a unique, autobiographical perspective on NJ's Heavy Metal music history through photos, interviews and band bios. The book covers the early years from 1969 to 1986. Jersey Metal Volume One (Revised Edition)  focuses not just on artists and bands from the Garden State but also world-wide acts, local original, cover as well as tribute bands that played in NJ. There is also respect paid to the venues these groups frequented, the radio stations, record companies, stores and the Jersey shore that all helped grow New Jersey's wild Heavy Metal scene.

Frank White has been a music photographer since 1975, selling his photos nationally and internationally to a variety of music magazines, record companies, music TV programs, DVD companies, book companies and the Rock N' Roll Hall Of Fame. Frank also started The Frank White Photo Agency in 1986. He toured with bands as their photographer in the late 1980's and early 1990's and was the photographer for the Uncle Floyd TV show in 1998. Frank became an author in 2018 with two books in print to date.

Alan Tecchio is a singer who has fronted a number of heavy metal bands including Hades, Watchtower, Non-Fiction, Autumn Hour, Seven Witches and Level Fields. Alan has also interviewed many heavy metal bands for different magazines but this is his first published book.
