Hunted

Hunted is the fourth book in the Savanah Sizzle series. The opening scene is set in Gibraltar, the British Overseas Territory in the Mediterranean, where it depicts the harrowing events of Nia Munro’s last assignment as a spy for MI6. The ill-fated mission cost the lives of her clandestine team and left her fighting for her life.

Next, we pivot to Hong Kong, where Munro returns to her native roots and is searching for clues to track the people responsible for her former team’s demise. Now working as a private security contractor for SPNI, Nia is supporting her colleague Agent Willow O’Leary on a deep undercover assignment. Willow has spent the past few months as the concierge at a swanky hotel in order to uncover wrongdoing by a billionaire business tycoon, Laurent Rochedale, a man suspected of trafficking the weapons used in the deadly ambush in Gibraltar.

O’Leary previously worked for the Special Detective Unit of the Gardai, in Ireland’s highly secretive witness protection unit. Her undercover mission has her targeting cybersecurity specialist Preston Blackshaw in order to gain access to Rochedale’s private computer files. When the tycoon invites them onto his super yacht and then sets sail for the open seas, it is clear that trouble is afoot. Munro cons her way on board and takes on the identity of one of the crew. The trio quickly realizes that their lives are in grave danger, leaving them no choice but to hatch a daring escape and flee during a severe tropical storm.

Munro’s MI6 contacts help them escape to Savannah, Georgia, where FBI Agent Maddison Stone offer them safe harbor. The three fugitives are soon cornered by menacing forces leading to a final showdown between them and Rochedale in Savannah.

Reeling from the death of her teammates during their last doomed spy mission, which left her critically injured, disgraced former MI6 operative Nia Munro finds herself hunting for clues in Hong Kong to track down those responsible. Munro and her fellow SPNI private security contractor, Willow O'Leary, are tasked with gathering information against Laurent Rochedale, the billionaire business tycoon believed to be trafficking the specialized weapons that were used in the deadly ambush.

Willow O'Leary, erstwhile serving in Ireland's highly secretive witness protection unit, had jumped at the chance to escape Dublin and leave her troubles behind. Hong Kong seemed like the perfect place, if not complicated by the presence of a captivating IT consultant, whom she is tasked with assisting in her undercover role as hotel concierge.

Cybersecurity specialist Preston Blackshaw is a man with many secrets. Revamping Rochedale's computer systems provided him with an opportunity to discreetly investigate rumored allegations of the most heinous nature against the billionaire. Blackshaw's attempts backfire when the tycoon's head of security monitors his every move and targets the one woman who has somehow managed to make him want to risk his heart again. When a cyclone unexpectedly strands them with Rochedale and his cronies at the tycoon's Soko Islands compound, they combine forces and hidden truths are revealed. This ordeal imparts on them the imminent danger that they find themselves entangled in.

The trio's quest for justice gets derailed when they are forced to quickly flee Hong Kong in the middle of a tropical storm.

Covertly, the three fugitives make their way to Savannah, Georgia, where they regroup and enlist the help of FBI Senior Special Agent Maddison Stone, all while bloodthirsty criminal forces hunt them down.

Hunted is the fourth book in the Savannah Sizzle series. The team gets more than they bargain for when unexpected individuals from their haunted past barge into their lives and connections come to light that make them question everything they think they know.
