Overview

Destiny is the seventh book in the Ravens Nest Series.

Arriving at a swank Caribbean resort on the British Virgin Islands, Crown Princess Sabrina of Luxembourg attends the wedding of her good friend, Prince Otto of Monaco, and coincides the nuptials with making her ultimate selection of a consort among the last remaining of her suitors from an exclusive list of preselected and approved candidates. After a volatile period of rebellion and with her father gravely ill, Sabrina has resigned herself to her fate of marrying a man of suitable standing.

The matriarch of the family and Sabrina’s grandmother, Princess Anna, has drilled critical life rules and doctrines into her granddaughter from an early age. She employs gifted geneticist, Professor Horus Galili, to determine which nuptial candidate would be the best match. The matriarch has spent most of her life on a secret quest to determine which additional genetic codes belonging to the purest bloodlines of old would activate dormant abilities within her family lineage.

No-nonsense and newly divorced Francesca Dalbar, aka Frankie, is a former British Intelligence Officer now working for SPNI. She is assigned to accompany Galili to the Caribbean and make the eccentrically awkward and socially inept man fit in while he evaluates the interaction between the princess and her consort finalists. This task proves highly challenging with a germophobic man with way too many hang-ups.

The last person Princess Anna wants to see courting her granddaughter is Daniel Wolff, aka Lord Daniel of Moyle, an adopted son of a marchioness. As an SPNI agent, Wolff was instrumental in saving Sabrina’s life during a recent assassination attempt, making her only tolerate him slightly. Wolff crosses paths with the only woman he has ever loved but has been deemed unfit to marry, Princess Sabrina. Sparks fly as they are thrown together, and Sabrina’s exiled uncle makes a play for the throne—and her head.

Wolff engages the help of his SPNI colleagues to save Princess Sabrina and her grandmother from certain demise as the situation spirals out of control. Fleeing for their lives, Wolff and the royals seek refuge in the unlikeliest of places—Ravens Nest—while Dalbar and Galili head to London to deal with a family emergency.

Trouble is never far behind and danger seems to lurk around every corner as the characters fight to be the masters of their own destiny.

Destiny uncovers destructive family secrets, ultimate betrayal and deceit. The storylines converge in this globetrotting thriller and leads to a fated and explosive showdown concurrently at the Museum of London and in Ravens Nest.

Description

Former British Military Intelligence Officer Francesca Dalbar, new recruit to private security firm SPN Industries, is tasked with protecting the eccentric and socially inept geneticist, Professor Horus Galili. The stakes are high, as Galili is responsible for evaluating shortlisted candidates in picking a consort for Crown Princess Sabrina of Luxembourg. This undertaking requires him to seamlessly intermingle with the aristocracy during the week-long nuptials of one of the princess's friends on a swank private Caribbean resort island. Needless to say, Dalbar has her work cut out for her.

Princess Sabrina's resolve to do whatever it takes to meet her obligations to the Crown is tested severely when she runs into the one man who had previously seduced his way into her heart; Agent Daniel Wolff, a.k.a. Lord Daniel of Moyle.

Wolff already holds the ire of the astute matriarch of the family, Princess Anna. Sabrina's grandmother is wholly invested in fortifying the monarchy and securing their lineage by merging Sabrina's hand with the purest of the bloodlines of old. Lord Daniel, being an adopted son of a marchioness, has been found lacking for such royal purposes.

Even on this idyllic love island where passion boils over, danger is not far behind when Sabrina's exiled uncle makes a play for the throne. Facing perils from outside and within the circle of those they trust, the royals have to rely on old confidants and new acquaintances to survive and escape unscathed.

Princesses Sabrina and Anna find themselves seeking refuge in the unlikeliest of places, at the eastern seaboard rural town of Ravens Nest, with nothing but the clothes on their backs.

Destiny is the 7th book in the Ravens Nest series. By design, fate propels the characters down an unexpected path toward their destiny, with chance encounters either being a means of survival, or merely, a steep fare for surrendering to their ultimate defeat.
