Claudette was born and raised in Los Angeles, California by a Christian family and wrote her first creative work around the age of nine for a puppet show at her Elementary School. She later wrote for her Jr. High School’s speech program winning second place and appeared on Let’s Rap talk show for her work. As an illustrator, Claudette could be found drawing cartoons from the TV Guide her mother frequently brought home. Claudette found employment in Banking over fifteen years, in Family Service Programs ten years, and in Mortuary Services four years. Claudette has been married over thirty years with two children and one grandchild. Claudette enjoys family time, fashion, interior design, gardening, and cooking. Granny's Eat Good Garden is Claudette's first published work.
