About the author
Kylie lives in Sydney with her husband and four children. She loves to write stories for her children that have powerful emotional messages and unique characters. Prior to becoming a full time mum, Kylie served as an Education Officer for 14 years in the Royal Australian Air Force. She is as advocate for improving childrens' literacy and has talked to many parents at school orientation evenings about the benefits of reading to their children. Kylie is passionate about creating stories that help facilitate the learning of emotional intelligence. Her first book "Clara Worry Cloud" presented the concept of anxiety and a way to cope with it. "Five Minutes to Lizard Land" presents the ripple effect of one random act of kindness. Her third book "Bower Bird Blues" is currently being produced and is expected to be released early 2013.
