Now, with the wealth of answers available to us, within our reach is the ability to choose whether to allow our future to emerge unguided or to actively decide what we would like to become. Activist and veterinarian Brett Hayward integrates the roadmaps offered by disparate disciplines in an exploration of where we came from and where we can go.

Informed by centuries of searching, both scientific and spiritual, we can now bridge the gap between these disparate disciplines to build an integrated roadmap to understand where we come from and where we can choose to go.

Brett Hayward has spent his lifetime working with animals as a veterinarian and otherwise, learning and wondering about life, death and the existential questions in-between. An activist on social issues, particularly homelessness, mental health and drug addiction, he has worked with several agencies, including abroad with a missionary organization, and now lives on Vancouver Island.
