About the author
Renee James, an award-winning journalist, is also a writer, editor, and licensed cosmetologist who has been active in the Chicago transgender community for many years. Her debut novel, Coming Out Can Be Murder is the culmination of all her many talents. Like her heroine, Bobbi Logan, Renee believes in the curling iron as a higher power and thinks that hairdressers are an advanced form of humanity.
