Overview
"LOYALTY TO GOD, COUNTRY, AND CORPS" More than just a Marine's motto, Dick Hrebik takes these words to heart and lives the life he espouses. From the streets of Chicago to the jungles of Vietnam to law offices in Washington, D.C., Hrebik's moral compass and values guide him through the highs and lows of his life. Dick's courageous voice from the "Silent Generation," offers a unique insight into a Marine's mind, and how the lessons he was taught in the military carried forward into his life after his distinguished career in the U.S. Marine Corps.

About the author
Dick Hrebik–author, historian, Marine–brings personal life experience to the writing of "The Warrior Among Us." As a former Marine who worked with high-level military and political figures, his familiarity with geo-political diplomacy, international espionage, and command of military knowledge lend credibility to this end-of-the-world scenario. Hrebik is also the author of his memoir, "Corps Vet." His love of life and adventure bring spirit to each of his books. His career in the U.S. Marine Corps, as well as his personal love of travel and adventurous nature, have taken him all over the world—from three tours in Vietnam, an assignment in Nigeria, Africa and the Congo, as well as climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro and crossing the Panama Canal. When not traveling, Dick lives with his wife, Carole, in Black Diamond Ranch, FL. In his spare time he enjoys crafting his family wine at Vint Hill Farms in Virginia, a former U. S. Army high security listening site.
