The author has been collecting, researching and documenting Tonka toys for almost 30 years. A volunteer Fire & Rescue member for ten years adds to his love and history of fire trucks. About the author

Micah has been playing with Tonka's since his birth in 1970. His wife purchased a mini Tonka cement mixer for his office shelf in the fall of 1993. He took the toy apart to clean it and loved how well it was made. His wife said "You need a hobby" so he has been collecting ever since. He currently has hundreds of original Tonka sales and production documents from around the world. His collection has grown to several thousand Tonka Toys from around the world with future books in the works. He is a historian preserving the history of Tonka Toys for future generations.
