About the author
Growing up in the rural South Dakota in the 1970's meant spending lots of time outside. Tonka Toys were an escape from doing chores that took me to an imaginary place where I built roads, dams and hauled livestock to market. I started collecting over 30 years ago wanting to relive the simpler times in life. Today my collection has grown to over 4,000 pieces of Tonka toys and memorabilia from 1947-1983.
