Lindsay Hall was born in Ohio and has lived in Switzerland, New York City , Boston, and Long Island. Her "checkered career" includes having been a New York City public school teacher, a cigarette girl at the Copacabana, a textbook editor, and a deputy to the Governor of New York. A history major in college, she continues to pursue a love of history and politics, which also provide background to her novels. Ms. Hall and her husband currently live in Virginia.
