About the author
Nicole Barrett is a licensed clinical social worker from the Seattle area. She is a graduate of the University of Washington with a B.A. in psychology and a Master of Social Work in the mental health tract. She has worked as a mental health therapist for Behavioral Sciences Institute, Seattle Mental Health, Valley Medical Center Psychiatry and Counseling Clinic and Sound Health Solutions. She is a singer/songwriter with three released albums and enjoys writing poetry and screenplays as well. Becoming Light is her first book.
