About the author
Dr. Solomon is a professor of psychology at The College of Southern Nevada. He is the creator of the trademarked term 'Cinematherapy'® and he was the first to write about using movies as therapy. He has lectured all over the world and has been on TV, Radio and written media. Dr. Solomon is the author of A Psychiatric Diagnosis Primer: an easy guide to identifying psychiatric illness. Contains all of the information in the DSM IV and also includes movies to watch to help identify psychiatric illnesses, including addictions. Dr. Solomon is an expert diagnosing addictions and psychiatric illness and disorders. Dr. Solomon is dedicated to his students and uses unique teaching techniques, which he calls 'teachertainment'. He also believes that online education, books and learning will be taking over the traditional education in the near future.
