A Day at the Beach with Lady and Bubba

Lady and Bubba get to go to the beach for the first time. There they encounter several of the local residents on the sand and in the water -- a heron, a crab, a jelly fish, a pelican, and a dolphin. Along with exploring, they also enjoy themselves in the water, and after a snack and a well-deserved nap head home, tired but happy.

Formerly an early-childhood teacher, Carolyn Spadafora has been writing and illustrating children's books since 2018. This is her third book about the dogs who live with her daughter and son-in-law. Her other books include The Tale of the Newberry Mice, The Return of the Newberry Mice, and 123 Zig Zag Bridge, the latter set in the Chicago Botanic Garden. She lives with her husband in North Carolina.
