Personal Statement: I've been a prolific, creative force, musically, poetically, and with the written word, for the past 45+ years. I have traveled and visited lands and cultures beyond my own and I have grown and prospered from all of it. My life has been full, yet I am not finished, not even close. Too much yet unfinished and pending. That is what my life is about now…completing that which has yet to be completed. My journey has taken many turns, and I have enjoyed and survived all of them. As Yogi Berra once implied, "I came to a fork in the road, and I took it!"

2007-2008 brought yet another turn, and it was magical. United with siblings I didn't know I had, Ismael & Nancy, Ivan and Ivanna, Patricia, Belinda & Daniel, & Rene, while bonding closer to my brothers Hijolee Art & Elsa, Laura & Chuy, my wife Shawny (who has grown to be the perfect mate and partner for me) and Mom/Nana to our children.
