Ty Bledsoe is an accomplished
inspirational speaker and corporate leader. Mr. Bledsoe is a problem solver,
who has led diverse coalitions, advocated for racial justice and economic
empowerment impacting under-served communities. Born in Oakland and raised in
the S.F. Bay Area, Rev. Bledsoe emerged to become a 3rd generation
pastor.
Mr. Bledsoe is the Assistant Vice
President – External & Legislative Affairs for a Fortune 10 Company, where
he is responsible for legislative interests among federal, state and local elected
officials across most of North Texas ranging from the Greater Dallas metroplex,
north to the Oklahoma border and east to the Louisiana border. Mr. Bledsoe is
the former Director – Diversity & Inclusion. He is a published author of The
Mountaintop: One Black Leader’s Courageous Fight for Faith, Justice &
Empowerment.

Licensed as a Minister at age 16 and
Ordained at age 21 by the Church of God in Christ Inc., Rev. Bledsoe’s ministry
spans 24 years. Currently, Ty serves in a Pastoral capacity on the Care Network
and Prayer Teams at One Community Church’s Prosper Campus and is the former
Pastor – Outreach & Evangelism at St. Paul United Methodist Church (Dallas,
TX).
Mr. Bledsoe is the first full-term
African-American Student Body President of UC Davis. He received his Bachelor
of Arts from UC Davis and Executive Master of Business Administration from
California State University – Sacramento.
Ty serves on the Executive Board for the
University of Texas at Dallas and Board of Directors for the Greater Irving-Las
Colinas Chamber of Commerce, where he serves on the Chamber’s Executive
Committee. Mr. Bledsoe serves on the Board of Directors for Project Unity, a
non-profit committed to racial reconciliation nationwide, a member of the Public
Policy Committee for the Plano Chamber of Commerce and is a past Board of
Director for The UC Davis Alumni Association.
