R.M. Williams wrote Freckles and His East Coast Adventure as her first children's book that was based on her travels. She has several more books in her mind. Retired after working in retail for what seems like forever. She realized her gift for storytelling after a lifetime of experiences to back her up.
With that, she had an inkling of wanting to be a writer at a young age but didn’t have the life experiences to back it up. Her books are weaving history, geography, and humor into the mix to the delight of both parents and children worldwide.
She is a Florida native who lives in the Panhandle in a very small town famous for its caverns. She lives with her very laid-back cat, Leia. She can read her cat’s mind. She has lived during her school years in southeast Alabama. As a result, she has developed that deep southern drawl she can’t get rid of.
