Author Info

Patricia McCain is a Texas-based author of Christian historical fiction, inspired by her own faith and family history. Her debut novel Maybe Tomorrow (Feb 2023) and its sequel Tomorrow (2024) form an autobiographical-inspired series set in mid-20th-century Oklahoma (and beyond) centered on enduring faith, family, and hidden secrets. Both books chronicle one woman’s journey of love, endurance, and hope across Depression-era America and beyond, based upon her own life. Patricia lived a life full of adventure, love, faith, abuse and heartache, and through it all she kept hold of a secret that she knew would devastate the one she loved the most, leaving readers asking, “What secrets would you keep for love?”.
Patricia has two wonderful daughters, four grandchildren, and three great grandchildren. She has been a widow for over 20 years but has filled her life with activities in several organizations and her local church. Family, and her love for God keep her going and facing each day as it comes knowing that ‘maybe tomorrow’ things will change and tomorrow will be a better day. Maybe Tomorrow was a finalist in the 2024 Next Generation Indie Book Awards (Memoirs/Historical Legacy), and Tomorrow won 2nd place in the 2024 DBT Literary Awards (Memoir).
