A Beautiful Story of Strong Women If you love Francine Rivers, Lynn Austin, and Karen Kingsbury, then you are going to love this book by Patricia McCain!! I started this book today at 2pm and just put it down. I have cried and I have laughed out loud!! This is an amazing story of a young women coming into adulthood with all the ups and downs, tragedies and triumphs that life throws our way along with a beautiful story of true love. The characters are beautifully depicted. Some you want to love, some you want to hang out with and some you just want to beat the hell out of. Here’s to all the strong women who know that maybe tomorrow things will be different. Read more

A Granddaughter’s Perspective This quick read is the perfect book for a young lady. This book draws you in, to where you can’t set it down. My hands were glued to it! This book is about an adolescent girl finding her way through hardships that many can find relatable. Her story includes some very vulnerable, gut-wrenching things; to absolute joy and laughter! She is the perfect example of bravery. She gets that from her mother, and her Granny. She always knew what her heart truly wanted, even if her life could never provide that. She pursued a love that some of us can only dream of. This fast paced book took me less than a day to read! Perfect for a busy young lady. As for me, I am very proud to call this Author my grandmother-in-law. Lovingly referred to as “Nana”. She loves me as her own and I am forever thankful. I’m so proud to have taken her last name, through her grandson of course! I will forever cherish this book, and her. Thank you Nana! Read more
