Perseverance is Her Middle Name I loved reading Pat's book about her life growing up from a young girl to adulthood. She overcame so many complexities and traumas along the road to maturity. What sustained her and made her the strong and enduring woman she is today was her faith in God. Without the Lord, some of the harrowing things she confronted might have broken her spirit and left her dejected and defeated. Praise God, He placed the right people in her path that helped her become the woman she is today. An added bonus is a beautiful love story that is woven throughout the book. Read more

A Granddaughter’s Perspective This quick read is the perfect book for a young lady. This book draws you in, to where you can’t set it down. My hands were glued to it! This book is about an adolescent girl finding her way through hardships that many can find relatable. Her story includes some very vulnerable, gut-wrenching things; to absolute joy and laughter! She is the perfect example of bravery. She gets that from her mother, and her Granny. She always knew what her heart truly wanted, even if her life could never provide that. She pursued a love that some of us can only dream of. This fast paced book took me less than a day to read! Perfect for a busy young lady. As for me, I am very proud to call this Author my grandmother-in-law. Lovingly referred to as “Nana”. She loves me as her own and I am forever thankful. I’m so proud to have taken her last name, through her grandson of course! I will forever cherish this book, and her. Thank you Nana! Read more
