Description

This novel is the sequel to "Maybe Tomorrow", the first novel by Patricia McCain, and continues the saga of her life story. She received so many requests from people who had read her first novel to continue the story, that she felt she had follow up with the answers to the question they were all asking....did she ever tell her secret??

"'Tomorrow' is a novel following the life of Lori, beginning in 1956 at the start of her marriage. Through many ups and downs, secrets, heartache, and joy, the reader gets to witness Lori powering through it all with grace, which she would attribute to her love for God. Family is at the center of this narrative, and it is very much the center of Lori's life. She details the adventures she and her family had while living in Afghanistan, Louisiana, Oklahoma, and many other places, always keeping her husband, Marc, and their children her primary concern. Lori made it through some very trying times, and it was her trust in God, and her hope that everything would be better tomorrow that got her through." -BookBaby editor

Tomorrow, Editor review Tomorrow is a novel following the life of Lori, beginning in 1956 at the start of her marriage. Through many ups and downs, secrets, heartache, and joy, the reader gets to witness Lori powering through it all with grace, which she would attribute to her love for God. Family is at the center of this narrative, and it is very much the center of Lori’s life. She details the adventures she and her family had while living in Afghanistan, Louisiana, Oklahoma, and many other places, always keeping her husband, Marc, and their children her primary concern. Lori made it through some very trying times, and it was her trust in God, and her hope that everything would be better tomorrow that got her through. This piece reads almost like a memoir, really sucking the reader into the story and making them take it more seriously. It is a beautiful and, at times, harrowing story of hope and perseverance to keep riding the rollercoaster of everyday life, and we need more stories like it. This novel is a wonderful slice of one family’s life as seen through the eyes of Lori, the wife and mother in this family. It details her family’s adventures, misfortunes, and joys, illustrating that hope and her love for God kept Lori going through it all. It sends a wonderful message without being in any way preachy, which will help it reach more people more deeply. -BookBaby Editor, April 2024 Read more

Heartwarming! Captivating story! I had trouble putting this down. It's a story about love - about trials and triumphs, about an extraordinary life. Written like a memoir, it would make a fantastic movie I think! Read more
