Malinda Anne Balo is the author, editor, and illustrator of the children's books Lavender Fairies and Lavender Fairies Halloween. She lives in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho with her two children, where she is currently working on more fantasy young adult and fantasy children's books, owns her own bookstore Once Upon A Fairytale Books, and has a podcast "Storytime with Malinda". In her spare time, she runs and travels.
