I am a professional, working mom of two who enjoys a good escape read more than just about anything! When my kids were young, I started to write my own book and have enjoyed the writing process, and my characters, so much that my first book has now turned into three. While I have had no training in the area of novel writing, I am an avid reader. I have worked on these books for twelve years, and they have been a source of continued enjoyment and relaxation in my sometimes stressful world. Rowan, along with many other characters in this series, are near and dear to my heart. I'm definitely not everyone's cup of tea, and neither is Rowan.
My love of reading, and longing for strong female characters, urged me to write a paranormal romance series about an independent, but still fallible, female character who doesn’t adhere to flawed societal constructs. Representation in literature matters, and I want to contribute to the idea that women choose their paths, no matter where they may lead.
