MICHAEL BENNER — the author of Fearless Intelligence — is best known for his popular "human potential" talk-radio programs in Los Angeles. Since 1977, he has hosted shows on KABC-AM, KLOS-FM, KLSX-FM, KCBS-FM, KRLA-AM & KPFK-FM.
Michael left broadcasting as a full-time profession in 1987 to begin his own business, Personal Development Strategies. As presented by Michael, these skills include stress management, emotional intelligence, critical thinking and the unfolding of mindful self-awareness. A resident of La Quinta, just east of Palm Springs, California, Michael teaches online classes in the perennial philosophy, also known as The Ageless Wisdom. He is a popular convention speaker and retreat leader with an emphasis on self-awareness, emotional intelligence, critical thinking, and peak performance. A graduate of Michigan State University with a B.A. degree in Television, Radio and Journalism, Michael has been awarded a lifetime certification as an Instructor of Communication Arts by the California Community Colleges Board of Governors. He is a certified Hypno-therapist specializing in accelerated learning. He is also a federally licensed amateur radio operator, N6IJR, with expertise in Disaster Preparedness and Emergency Management.
