Like the Brimmer family, John A. Merullo is a native of Massachusetts. He had a 23-year career as a public librarian, specializing in programming for adults and management. He lives in Houston with his husband, George, their dogs, Paul and Ringo, their cat, Pete, and John's mother, Mary, as well as their teenage son. John enjoys cooking, baking, reading, watching old movies and classic TV shows, and choral singing.He is the founder of the Houston LGBTQ+ Indie Author Fair.
