Author Info

Jennifer lives in Florida with her husband and two daughters. In addition to writing children's books, Jennifer works as a licensed mental health counselor in the state of Florida. Jennifer received her Master of Science degree from St. Thomas University in Miami, and her Bachelor of Arts degree from The College of New Rochelle in New York. She works closely with families, adolescents, and individuals with disabilities. Jennifer is also a mother to a beautiful girl who has a unique ability. Jennifer's eldest daughter has hypotonia, which is a symptom of a rare genetic disorder called CACNA1A that affects mainly her mobility. The strength her daughter displays daily is what inspires Jennifer to write children's books. Jennifer's goal in writing children's books is to shine a light on the capabilities that children with different abilities have, and how families and communities can help encourage them to be their best selves.
