Diane M. Johnson was born and raised in the heart of Central New York before moving to California upon graduating with a film theory degree from Binghamton University. She has been a screenwriting finalist many times over in various competitions, as well as a script reader.
Her first novel, The Schoharie, was adapted from one of her early scripts, and was a Readers Favorite award winner in 2018, in the Young Adult--Paranormal fiction category. She is also the first one to admit that if you've heard of Diane M. Johnson, she's probably not "that" Diane M. Johnson. But she's hoping that will change...
