Charmisse Morency (maiden name, Owens) is the author of the College- Bound Binder and Things I Wish Someone Had Told Me before I Started College. She's a Los Angeles native but resides in Augusta, GA. She is a new mother and wife on a mission to encourage, empower, and equip youth as they prepare to enter into higher education. Her published works stem from her experiences in undergrad and graduate school. As a first-generation college student, she learned quite a few lessons and wants to continue to share them with the masses.
Although her stint as an educator was short, Charmisse plans to play an active role in local schools and in the community. Her Facebook page serves as a source of information for current an potential college students. She consistently posts pertinent information, articles and videos as well as answers any questions sent to her via email or social media.
