Makayla is a 21-year-old writer who enjoys all things books, food, animals, nature, rivaling everyday societal expectations, and traveling. She originally started writing seriously in the summer of 2018 due to a house fire that destroyed her childhood home. Through writing, the help of her grandparents, a lake in the shape of a crescent moon, and many many books, Makayla relearned who she was as a writer. Her dreams include traveling, writing more books, helping to inspire people, and having a job and family that she loves. After high school she traveled as a missionary for 3 years before attending college at Concordia University Wisconsin with hopes of pursuing a law degree. She hopes you find what you are looking for in her writings, as she found what she needed to keep going.
