Claudia is an award winning author originally from Argentina. She has published four books in Spanish. Her training as a Clinical Psychologist and Social Worker provides her with deep insights into the emotional aspect of being human.
The Empty Chair is her first novel in English. She whole heartedly embraced the American citizenship and was dismayed to see democracy crumbling in the current political situation in the United States. No stranger to life under a military dictatorship she felt compelled to stress the perils of life under oppression. A warning and a cry for action to the society at large and particularly to the younger generation inciting them to become actively involved in civic life to sustain democracy.
Her work has been featured int the US press and media including on such Spanish television shows as ¿Qué pasa? and Facetas and print publications like El Pregonero, Letra Urbana, and El Tiempo Latino.
