Rollie doesn't sit still yet is a huge fan of and helping people to engage daily in quiet time and silence to grow deeper in faith and spirituality. He frequently takes solos to better connect with his Creator and immerse in nature through canoe trips, backpacking and wandering. His mission in life is to help people connect in stronger ways to our Creator (God), through immersion in Creation. His many hobbies include wilderness canoeing, canoe building, bowhunting, bow building, flintknapping, sewing, Spanish speaking and reading, rock climbing and backpacking the mountain west all add richness and depth to his writing and speaking.
Rollie is currently a Lay Pastor at First Lutheran Church in Fargo, ND where he preaches and leads contemporary worship.
