Ramya Kapadia is a dancer/choreographer and vocalist specializing in Bharatanatyam and Carnatic music (dance and music forms of South India). A multi-disciplinary artist, she also paints (Warli and Zentangle are her go-to forms), writes scripts and scores music for dancers around the globe. With the Taikamaa series, a gift to her daughter for her tenth birthday, she fulfills a long time dream of writing children's books. A true lover of philosophy, science and art, she is constantly seeking ways to merge the three in ways that have social impact.
