Pablo Agrio is a former Marine, police officer and law school graduate. His award-winning essays have appeared online and in print. His memoir In Pursuit of Happiness was published by BookBaby in 2020 and Octavia, and The Butcher, both short stories were published by The Yard: Crime Blog in 2021. He was awarded 1st place for his story The Dom at the 2021 GLA Veterans Creative Arts Festival. He is a member of the UCLA Wordcommandos Creative Writing Workshop for Veterans who suffer from PTSD. He is originally from Panama and resides in Los Angeles with his wife.
