About the Author — Pastor Chuck Chavis

Pastor Chuck Chavis is the founder of Lifeline Ministries and pastor of Lifeline Church in Baldwin County, Alabama. For 15 years, he lived in addiction, crime, and hopelessness—until January 3, 2007, when he accepted Jesus Christ as his savior. That moment of freedom became the foundation of his calling: to help others break the chains of bondage and discover the life-changing power of God’s Word.

Today, Chuck leads Lifeline Ministries, Lifeline Church, and Lifeline Discipleship Homes — a Christ-centered residential program committed to helping men overcome addiction, rebuild their lives, and restore their families. His ministry reaches the incarcerated, the homeless, the broken, and anyone searching for hope.

Pastor Chuck is known for his bold, direct, and compassionate teaching style. His messages cut through confusion and bring clarity to spiritual battles, tormenting thoughts, addiction, and identity. His passion is to show people that freedom is possible, healing is real, and no one is too far gone for God to rescue.

He lives in Baldwin County with his wife Dana, where they continue serving their community through outreach, discipleship, and the message that changed his life:
There is hope when things seem hopeless.
