Jack V. Eitelgeorge is a former businessman who took up writing after retirement.  He has a Master's Degree in Creative Writing from Sonoma State University.  He also has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business with an emphasis on Personnel Management and an Associate's Degree in Engineering.

He was born in Vallejo, California, and witnessed many of the events and places described in his books.  He has dual citizenship, American and Italian.

He wrote "The Meat Eaters" in 2022 and "The Lady From Como" in 2023.  The two fiction novellas take place in the 1970s and 1980s.  Many of the events and locations are factual and experienced by him.

In January 2023, he published a murder mystery in Tuscany, Italy, titled "Murder in the Hills of Chianti."  It is the final book in his trilogy.
