Ines Novelli Bojlesen is a US citizen, born in São Paulo, Brazil and raised by her multinational and multilingual family. Books were an important part of her upbringing and her main source of entertainment and learning.

She lived with her host family in Vancouver, Washington as an exchange student during the senior year of High School and moved to the US in 1998.

She has a master’s degree in Industrial Design and has worked as a professional interpreter and translator for over 30 years.

Ms. Bojlesen first book is called O Livro dos Andantes, Voantes e Nadantes, published in 1995 in São Paulo, by Editora Lisa. She was invited to read her stories to children in schools and experienced first-hand how her audience responded. She made donations of her first book to children's hospitals and orphanages.

Ms. Bojlesen lives in Oregon with her husband and close to her son.
