ILLUSTRATOR BIO
Virginia E. Portillo was born and raised in Lansing, Michigan. Her mother has always had a love of reading and really hoped that one day her children would love to read as much as her. As hard as she tried to get her daughter to read, her daughter was always more interested in looking at the pictures and making up her own stories. This wasn’t because she couldn’t read but because she always had a creative imagination and loved to draw.
She still lives in Lansing, Michigan with her daughter and son. She is in truth, growing into the illustrator she was always destined to be. Collaborating with an author has been a dream come true.
She can be contacted by email at Portillovirgin@gmail.com.
