Janna Bryant Forsgren was born and raised in Ventura, California until she was sixteen years old.  She has such fond memories of living in a small college town in southern California and growing up with four siblings playing at the beach.  During her high school years, her family moved to the small town of Pinedale, Wyoming and she experienced living in the mountains and being close to nature everyday.

Her college years involved moving to Ogden, Utah to attend Weber State University and study the field of Early Childhood Development.  After college she moved to Salt Lake City and met her husband, Mark Forsgren.  There is where they lived and raised two beautiful daughters.  Janna’s greatest love was having a family and being a mother.

After 36 years of marriage and retiring from working in the Early Childhood Development field, Janna all of a sudden found herself in the midst of deep loss, grief and unrelenting sadness.  This is her story of profound grief and beautiful transformation. Losing two family members to death, tremendously changed her life and eventually inspired her to share her experience, insights and transformation with others.

Janna currently lives in Fruitland, Utah at her cabin in the spring and summer months and in Potrero, Costa Rica at her condo during the fall and winter months.  She is thriving and enjoying life, treasuring inner strength, and forever grateful for her transformation and wisdom.
