About the author

Weston K. Seid:

Weston K. Seid is a social entrepreneur and city commissioner. Having started several businesses over the course of 15 years and graduating from University of Southern California, Marshall School of Business, Weston knew he wanted to develop a career based around business and community. As the Vice-Chair, Westminster City Planning Commissioner, he assesses if real estate opportunities are appropriate for the city by working with the community and developers. Weston is also the Co-Founder of Building BLOC (501c3 nonprofit). Through two unique business experiences, he is helping people and living his true passion simultaneously.

Khiry Kemp:

After graduating with Honors from UCLA, Khiry Kemp jumped into a consulting career that enabled him to work on strategically transformative projects with leaders of Fortune 500 companies. Staying true to his passion, he never stopped engaging in ways to help others, especially kids from low-income neighborhoods. In a seemingly inevitable harmony, Khiry co-founded the Building BLOC nonprofit, which allows him to utilize his business knowledge with the cause of improving college and career development for high school students. Today, Building BLOC helps over 150,000 students find internships and volunteer opportunities.
