About the author
Maya Northen Augelli is a writer, travel planner, health advocate, and yoga instructor from Philadelphia. Her nonfiction work has been published in several anthologies including Playing & Staying At the Top of Your Game and Joshua Rividel's The i'M Possible Project: Lemonade Stand. Her health advocacy writing has been featured across numerous platforms in the industry, and extensively on her mental health advocacy blog, Lilies and Elephants. In 2013, the inspiration for the first scene in a story struck. Soon, The characters began to come to life on the page and Johanna's Secret, Maya's first novel, was born.
