Rickman has been enamored with the comic book and illustration field since his Dad taught him to read at age 3 with The Amazing Spider-Man. Honing his craft at The Center for the Media Arts, Caldwell College, and The Joe Kubert School of Cartoon and Graphic Art, he went on to create some wildly imaginative comics such as "Fishman," "Sock," "The Band" weekly comic strip seen in Kearny's Observer newspaper from 2005-2008 and "The Incredibly Unbalanced Adventures of Bob." He was hired by the Joe Kubert School in Dover, New Jersey and taught some of the industry's upcoming giants from 2001 to 2005.
