Yvonne Marie Bordeau-Hendricks is a Specialist in Exercise Therapy, Certified Nutritionist, Certified Personal Trainer and Five Star Rated, Readers’ Favorite Award Winning author of Yvonne’s Cookbook "Let's Eat!"Authentic Neapolitan Recipes & World Travel Inspired Meals. She is Founder and President of Exercise Healthy Nutrition LLC and an expert in her field and received credentials through a variety of sports science organizations namely, ISSA, International Sports & Science Association and NESTA, National Endurance & Sports Training Association while working full time in the news media photo industry for over 16 years. Among Ms Hendricks' multi talents, she was a photo journalist in the late 80's and early 90's traveling throughout the United States, Europe, Asia and Mid East completing assignments for several leading fashion publications in an effort to publicize healthy living as a fashion trend. Ms Hendricks is also a TV Personality promoting the health and wellness industry endorsing several healthy food products appearing on channel Fox 5, Good Day New York and the WPIX-11 and was honored when asked to be a guest speaker at Berkeley College and lectured for a special populations topic of Diabetic Retinopathy. Throughout her practice in New York Burroughs of Bronx and Queens, she has treated many patients diagnosed with diabetes, Type I and Type II along with other special populations with heart disease, COPD, Fibromyalgia, PCOS, IBS, GERD, gastric bypass, Parkinson's, breast cancer and hyperlipidemia. The emphasis is on her proper nutritional guidelines and exercise regimen and in most cases over time, has either slowed the diabetes disease progression and or reversed the physician diagnosis.
Ms Hendricks practices & teaches privately in Westchester County and maintains a client base with demographics ranging from age 14 to age 89. She believes that the secret to living a healthy lifestyle starts with one's own emotional maturity which is first self respect, having compassion towards others and best of all being willing to laugh at yourself often. Making smart choices regarding food is a daily requirement to being human and living to an optimum potential. The worldwide pandemic of 2020 inspired Ms Hendricks to take inventory of her life's experiences and career accomplishments and Yvonne's Cookbook "Let's Eat!" Authentic Neapolitan Recipes and World Travel Inspired Meals was born. Although much of her photojournalism articles and photography has been published worldwide, Yvonne's Cookbook "Let's Eat!" Authentic Neapolitan Recipes & World Travel Inspired Meals is her first published book and a dream come true compiling over 200 delicious recipes, photographs and nutrient values for meals and desserts that she cooks for her husband, family and friends. Not a traditional recipe book, Yvonne shares personal anecdotes and stories from her childhood and world travel used as her inspiration for many recipes and they also include several gluten free, dairy free, low fat and low carb options with a healthy lifestyle in mind.
