Inspired by Sunday dinners and holidays which were always gathered by many cousins, aunts and uncles, built the foundation and collection of memories and stories which developed in her mind early as a child. Yvonne shares how to prepare a traditional Christmas Feast of Seven Fishes and includes Good Friday bread baking traditions. Somehow amidst Yvonne's many talents and interests, she also shares the importance of homemade winemaking that became her right of passage on her Communion Day and stresses the importance as the youngest female of 27 first cousins. She believes that her cup runneth over with cousins and relatives but stresses the ingredients are simple for future generations: there is importance in having such a bloodline as role models and carrying several, good stories and collecting some new ones; always showing up with a large amount of drive, motivation and values; having absolutely no tolerance to laziness along with a roll-up-your-sleeves attitude to problem solving and of course adding several cups of laughter...preserves the tradition. Yvonne hopes that her cookbook "Let's Eat!" Authentic Neapolitan Recipes & World Travel Inspired Meals will bring happiness and good health to everyone in the kitchen and everyone else that dines at your table. Whether you say "Mangiamo" which is Italian, "Smacznego" which is Polish or "Bon appetit" which his French. A blessing and giving thanks before a meal helps to bring us more present in a moment and it is a practice that she lives by daily.
