Just add some private visits from beings who claim to be sent from Elsewhere, and you have a sampling from the buffet of the bizarre that Rory’s life has suddenly become—as if junior high weren’t weird enough.

It’s just a sampling from the buffet of the bizarre that Rory’s life has suddenly become—as if junior high weren’t weird enough. Rory is about to get her first glimpse into a strange new world—beyond family loss, public school fiascos, homeschooling neighbors and those suspiciously nice kids from the youth group—and discover that the real battles are the ones you don't even see.
