Clidetra Flood is a passionate Children’s Book Author and Publisher residing in Orlando, Florida. Hailing from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, her passion for helping people began early on, and it has stayed with her ever since.
Currently, Clidetra is Founder of Hopeland Publishing, which is a local self-publishing company that was launched on September 1st, 2016. Hopeland’s main motto is “Seeing Ourselves in Others.” On a personal level, she is on a mission to spread love, hope, appreciation, and compassion to the world as a whole.
Additionally, Clidetra’s debut children’s book is now available for sale and is available now on Amazon, Barnes and Noble, and other prominent book outlets. Furthermore, she runs The Thinking Cap, an inspirational blog full of hope, positivity, and encouragement.
While making a difference in the children’s book industry is important to her, Clidetra wishes to expand her horizons throughout the span of her creative career.
When she isn’t writing or publishing, Clidetra enjoys reading self-development books. Most importantly, she loves spending quality time with her family and friends who are like family. Clidetra has been happily married to her loving husband Alphaeus for a decade, and she is the proud mother of two beautiful daughters named Zeniah and LaKayla.
