Genevieve Munro has loved birds of all kinds since she was a child. She lives in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania with her family and three pet parrots where she also volunteers with a local parrot rescue. She is working on more bird books for children and fiction novels for adults. She has also written about her experiences with chronic illness and with the Irish language.
