I am Genevieve Munro, a Pittsburgh-based writer and Gaeilgeoir (Irish speaker) specializing in fantasy and its roots and cultural impact. My interests began when I was a young child and grew up with me until I graduated from the University of Pittsburgh in 2022 with a Bachelor of Arts in English Fiction Writing and minors in English Literature and Irish. Since graduating, I have continued to research, write, and practice my Irish. I have also begun to form a small collection of rare and antique books.
In addition to my writing, I am also a bird enthusiast and care deeply about avian care. I have three pet parrots, volunteer for a local parrot rescue, and sometimes write childrens' literature about birds.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my birds, reading, crafting, and playing video games.
