About The Author

Anne Joynson was born near the Arctic Circle in Finland—practically in Santa's backyard! Her childhood was filled with the freedom to wander through quiet forests, exploring their hidden paths and woodland wonders. Her mother read to her every day, nurturing a love of stories that would stay with her. Long polar nights and cabin fever fueled her reading and her yearning to explore the world beyond home. With her two children now grown, she writes fiction that offers a welcome escape from the bustle of everyday life. Her ongoing children's book series, "Tuu the Elf," is inspired by her treasured memories in the Finnish woods, and invites readers into a world filled with enchanted stories that celebrate kindness, unexpected friendships, and little elves with big hearts who sometimes find themselves saving Christmas.
