A Louisiana born Texas raised author Michael Collins grew up as a military kid travelling and living in far away countries, where his imagination was shaped and nurtured. Michael holds a bachelors degree in psychology from Texas Southern University where he played tennis and subsequently became a pro as a member of the United States Professional Tennis Association. As a teaching pro Michael discovered a talent of speaking greatness into children of all ages. Thunder Brook was born out of this talent, when a conversation with a pre-teen became the impacting conversation that would lead that pre-teen to stop smoking marijuana.
