The Seasons' Journey

The Seasons' Journey is a story about regaining the trust in who we already are. We are who we know best. Our adventures never start with spring. They never end with winter. They're a random medley of seasonal falls, blooms, jumps or burns. But we must always return home... The tale is a collection of intense, sad poems - yet with a hopeful and spirited outcome - that offers poetry about home and journeys back home, poetry about raw emotions felt while away from loved ones, and a reminder about rebuilding trust in ourselves and strengthening self-esteem as often as we can.

1997. A full year of art. The beginning of The Seasons' Journey. Also the beginning of other art journeys, that may or may not yet be known widely... It didn't start with spring. The Seasons' Journey did not start with spring. At the beginning, there were scattered poems - written on train travels, in long hallways, in empty rooms, on grass, sand, rocks or snow. At some point, a few poems made sense read together, in a certain sequence. Hence, few more poems were written to complete the story... The Seasons' Journey was complete. The last verse was written. Along with the last chord... yes, The Seasons' Journey serendipitously became a rock opera - not yet widely revealed as of 2020…

Born in Romania, Nelu Lazar had spent his childhood throughout Transylvania, as well as hiking the trails and peaks of Ceahlau Mountains ever since he was a toddler. Later on, he discovered Brasov. The city of Brasov was, and still is, an everlasting art muse. Nelu embraced music and songwriting and, over the years, he co-founded a few rock and folk music bands. Other great memories from Brasov are still deep in Nelu's heart and soul - mountaineering and cultural activities with friends who love and protect our planet and environment, eternal friendship with college pals, motorcycle rides and events, and the beginning of long exciting professional opportunities. Today, Nelu lives in the United States and spends his free time recording music, writing, and exploring a few sorts of artistic recreational activities.
